Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-09-10. These terms cover the website vflin-antik.com, the cloud account it offers, and the Vflin desktop software you can download from it.

1. Who provides the service

The site and the cloud service are operated by ⟨the operator — the owner names the person or the legal entity, and the country whose law applies⟩. Until that is filled in, the operator is the site's owner, reachable at the support address below.

2. What the service is

Vflin is desktop software that runs isolated browser profiles on your own computer, and a cloud account that lets you sync those profiles between your devices, share them with a team, and manage a plan. The software works without an account; the account adds sync and teams.

3. Your account

• You create an account with an email and a password. The password never reaches our server: your device derives a check value from it and sends only that. ▮ measuredWe checked this request by request.
• You are responsible for the password, the recovery key the desktop app gives you, and any two-step verification codes. If you lose both the passphrase and the recovery key, nobody — including us — can open your synced profiles. ▯ builtThat is how the encryption is designed.
• Every device signed in to your account is listed in the cabinet and can be signed out from there; changing or resetting the password signs out every other device.
• You may delete the account from the cabinet at any time; see the Privacy page for what is removed and what stays.

4. Acceptable use

You use the software and the service for purposes that are lawful where you are and where the sites you visit operate, and in line with those sites' own terms. You do not use the service to attack, defraud or harm others, to distribute malware, or to interfere with our servers or other users. We may suspend an account that does, after notice where notice is possible.

5. Plans and payment

• The free plan is real and needs no payment: it is what every account gets. Paid plans exist with the ceilings shown on the pricing page.
• Paid plans are bought with cryptocurrency through a hosted payment page; the plan activates when the payment provider confirms the transaction. ▯ builtThe payment rail is built and tested against the provider's sandbox.

6. The software

• The desktop software is provided as an alpha: features may change, and the installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows shows a warning when you run it. The download page prints the file's SHA-256 so you can verify what you got.
• The browser core the software downloads on first run is our own build of Chromium, distributed under Chromium's licence; the software's own licence terms are ⟨to be named by the owner⟩.
• You do not reverse-engineer the service's protocols to attack other users; you may inspect and automate your own use of it — the local API, CLI and MCP server exist for that.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the cloud service available but do not promise uninterrupted service: it is operated as an alpha, and maintenance or outages happen. Your local profiles are not affected by our outages. We may change these terms; the date at the top moves when we do, and material changes are announced in the cabinet.

8. Liability

To the extent the applicable law allows, the service is provided as is, and the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for losses caused by a lost password or recovery key, or for the consequences of how third-party sites treat your accounts. ⟨The owner's jurisdiction decides what this clause may say.⟩
